ASK about TABle
Returns information about table with identifier TAB. Its arguments are the same as CRETAB except for the addition of extra arguments MAXCOL (the maximum number of elements of the arrays which will be filled, and COLFOR (an array of column formats). If NUMCOL is returned greater than MAXCOL then the table contains more columns than anticipated.
